NEW BOARD – NEW DIRECTION FOR AAG!

Welcome our new Board :

Stephen Henning – President

Julie Bergstrom –  Treasurer-elect (taking over for Deb Gniffke in January) and AAG Membership Chair

Bonnie Tressler – Facility Manager (yes, you read that right!)

Linda Gaugert – Secretary and Member Meeting Organizer

At the Annual AAG Business Meeting in August, members voted to change the By-Laws to allow new members to join the Board throughout the year, so don’t be surprised if the president asks for your help on the Board… and be prepared to say “yes!”

A NEW GALLERY!

After so many positive survey results, we are excited to tell you that we are opening an art gallery in downtown Alexandria.   It will be in old “Faction” store adjacent to Deja Bleu coffee shop.  Bonnie Tressler and Melissa Werpy are already hard at work finishing up the paperwork, planning for necessary upgrades in the space, and creating a schedule of events.  More details are coming.  Your help with setting up the gallery will be essential.  Plan to volunteer!
