I work in series—each one a mix of my history and current events that ask questions we’re often afraid to face: who we are, where we come from, and how we move through the weight of shared experience. There are no “rules” or “proper use” in revealing resilience and light within the rough edges of my creating. I don’t paint for the popular view—I paint to heal, to confront, and to feel alive in the process.
