Leila Mikkelson Preston
Leila has been creating fiber art for as long as she can remember. Leila learned to knit and crochet as a child from her parents. She was introduced to the art of weaving and built a small table loom while living at Holden Village in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Since that time she has taken many classes and workshops to further her knowledge and skill of weaving. Her weaving includes woven pieces for the home and for the church. She has woven puppets and teddy bears and paints with wool, also known as needle felting. Visit her website for more pictures and information.
