*PAUSE* Painting/Creating togetherWe will resume meeting on June 26 after the Art deTour. We meet weekly at Noni’s studio (5601 County Rd 21 SW, Alex.) every Thurs from 12:30-3:30pm. Bring your own project and supplies. It’s a great time to build connections and camaraderie not to mention exchange creative ideas and learn from each other.

Because of the difficulty in finding an adequate venue, we are postponing this show until a later date. That gives you a whole lot more time to create fish inspired 6″x6″ works of art! 

We’re still working on solidifying the location of the show.  While we work on that behind the scenes you can be painting/crafting your own 6″x6″ creation with the theme of “Fishy, fishy”!

This is a great thing to do with a friend, a neighbor, a child or grandchild! Is there someone in your life who is creative but just holds back a little? Nudge them to participate!  Canvases are available to pick up (no charge) at Noni’s studio. You are welcome to use your own 6″x6″ surface. It must be ready to hang with a picture wire on the back side. 

All artwork must be 6″x6″ and donated to the Art Guild (up to 3 per artist.) These pieces will be sold for $20 each at a gala event, with the proceeds going to the Guild. Do not sign the front. Information about the art and artist will be attached to the back for the purchaser’s benefit.

 

Board member search is underway…we have several great candidates but if you would like to be part of the driving force of this organization, please don’t hold back. We could use several more people to replace upcoming retiring board members! Email noniob@gmail.com if you want more information.

The next board meeting is scheduled for July 2, 2025, 10:00am at Noni’s house. If you wish to attend, please text or call ahead in case of changes.
