Official Notice of proposed change to Bylaws
According to the bylaws of the Guild, notice must be given to the members at least one month prior to the annual meeting, at which time the change will be voted on. Currently our bylaws provide for voting of board members only once a year at our annual meeting. There is no other mechanism for adding board members. We have come up against situations where it would be helpful to be able to install interim board members at other times throughout the year. The following in black is our current ARTICLE IV – Board of Directors and we propose to change this by adding the words in red.
“Section 1. Membership of the Board of Directors — The Board of Directors shall consist of 3-9 members elected by the Guild members at the Annual Business Meeting. To fill open board positions if less than 9, the President may at his or her discretion present prospective candidates to the Board for approval by Board vote at other times throughout the fiscal operating calendar. These appointments shall be considered interim until the next annual meeting.”
These changes will be voted on at our Annual Meeting on August 20, 2025.
July Pot-Luck — note change of location

Activities will include a group discussion about Trends: what you have experienced and seen, how do trends impact your artistic life. Possibly a game too!

PARKING: Please park along the road on the East side from the bridge up to the Anderson’s driveway and on the opposite side from Interlachen Inn down to the bridge. There are 4 parking spots up by their garage reserved for anyone who cannot walk up the hill.

Art deTour 2025
June 20-21, 2025 Fri & Sat 9-5A Big Thank You! to all who participated in and showed up for the Art deTour 2025. By all accounts it was a success. Reports being that the traffic and sales were better than last year. Many positive comments were received from attendees.
Painting/Creating togetherCome enjoy the camaraderie at Noni’s studio (5601 County Rd 21 SW, Alex.) every Thurs from 12:30-3:30pm. Bring your own project and supplies. We have fun painting, visiting, building connection and learning from each other. Join us!
By now you have been surveyed about the possibility of the AAG expanding into a downtown space. The Board will have a brainstorming session on Monday, July 21 at 1:00 at Noni’s studio. If you are keen to be a part of the discussion and potential project you are welcome to attend.
