Dean Curtis

Dean Curtis is a retired photojournalist based in Alexandria whose photography focuses on the landscapes and wildlife of the region. In addition to his Minnesota imagery, his work also documents the wild horses of Missouri’s Ozarks. In 2022, he published The Wild Horses of Shannon County, MO., a photographic tribute to these free-roaming horses and the rugged landscape they inhabit.

Curtis produces his photographs using archival-quality inkjet printing on acid-free papers rated for a life expectancy of more than 100 years, ensuring lasting color and image integrity for collectors and art enthusiasts alike.
